Yeah, we're all pretty excited here. To be honest I'm not sure which coast it will ship from.. When they quoted me th 6 week timeframe for our stuff to get there.. I figured it would be the east coast. Assuming the crate would take 2 weeks to make to the shipping port, a 1 week voyage (after a short stint sitting on the dock) and then back on a truck to cross the Fatherland.. But I'm not sure.. I just pray it all makes it there without incident..

Good Grief ... it looks you are going on one of my early Mexican Vacations.
One thing the ex absolutely could not do was minimize packing for travel ... drove me crazy. Airports can be bad, but try 2 giant suitcases, 2 medium ones, 2 of the largest carry-ons allowed, large camera case & garment bags ... on a Mexican bus. It felt like an African safari ... without the Africans.

Yeah, I'm kinda particular about some of my stuff ... I hope yours survives in good order. Which coast does it ship from ?... hope it doesn't have to go through the Suez canal.

Keep the digital camera & laptop handy and hope for hot spots

Hang on for the ride ... I'm really excited for you too !

dude, seriously i am so nervous and excited about this whole move thing that it probably isn't normal... and it's more than freaking me out a little to think of you being unconnected.

my life always seems a little more managable knowing you are only a mouse click away... this is all getting very real all of a sudden...

by the way, i think that is probably the most use your kitchen counters have ever had.
