   i haven’t even heard of this person… if i have heard his music i’m not aware…

   I worship Jack. I listened to him before listening to him was cool. I first discovered him after seeing his first surf film “Thicker Than Water” several years before he released a CD. I have every film, DVD and CD he’s ever put out. I’ve been to see him three times and had my health been better in the last year, I’d have seen him many more times. He is my absolutely favorite singer/songwriter and I think he gets better each year. His music makes me feel good and calm and at peace with the world, kinda like surfing. In fact, I almost prefered it before he got discovered by the rest of the world, because it was like he was my own secret.

   I can’t even comprehend someone not liking him.

   Umm…I’m a little passionate about Jack…can you tell?

   I’m with you Trish……..I don’t listen to him all the time…..I’m currently enamoured w/ lots of amazing 80’s tunes…….But Jack, oooooh, he’s so good…..He’s really great to chill out to…….Speaking of music…..B, I can recommend two guys who are frickin’ awesome! Ben Lee & Roddy Frame…..Their music is not in the same vein as JJ……..But they’ve absolutely knocked my socks off! Aus & Brit rock……ROCKS!

    But music is subjective… one man’s Ben Folds is anothers Jack Johnson. It’s all good.

    Cant stand Coldplay, U2, Dave Matthews or Ben Folds. And if your only exposure to Jack is Curious George, you aren’t qualified to speak on the issue. (is there a smuggly indifferent smilie?)

    Cattle aren’t too smart, but they are less obstinate and less full of bullshit than Republicans … they are the ones I keep it around for.

    As a teenager, we played tag with an electric cattle prod a few times until my mom and aunt found out about it and threatened us with evils that made an electric cattle prod seem mild.

    By the way…Jack Johnson is the bestest!

    Well … there are a couple of different kinds.
    One is used to get cattle to move where you want them.
    Sort of an Abu Ghraib instrument.

    The other is inserted in the male of the species to … ummmmmmmmm … stimulate them.
