I’m sick of being a dummkopf.

Today I finally wised up to the fact that Hogan’s Heroes reruns as german language aids just aren’t cutting it. So I did what any bored middle-class haus frau would do… I called & requested my very own cunning linguist to personally attend my needs twice a week. That’s right, I’m on the fast track to learnin’ me some german now!

To help with hearing the words/accents/pronunciation: watch lots of movies and television in German, no joke it helps, just avoid the “Gerry Spinger” german talk shows.

jeanni- I got it. Now I’m just trying to figure out ‘t’ words that describe me. So far I’ve managed to come up with:
terrible
tempermental
and turkey

(don’t ask me where turkey came from…)

MT is in Indiana actually. We change at Hbf, although I need to check the train times. For some reason we don’t have seat reservations for the EC to Prague, which I recall asking for. Hmmmm……

I used to live in Louisiana and visit often … and do all of my research there. Our house, however, is like Louisiana North. At least, that’s what my hubby calls it.
