Buffy & West Wing postponed due to Arrested Development

At the eleventh hour we decided to start Arrested Development in lieu of West Wing or Buffy V-Slayer. I’m really glad we did as I can’t remember the last time I’ve laughed so hard. This show is pure genius…

My kiddo brought his Arrested Development DVDs home at Christmas. We had planned to spread them out, but ended up having a weekend long marathon and watched every last one. I don’t remember when I have laughed so much. They teased that Showtime wanted to continue the show after FOX dumped it, but I understand that is now not going to happen. I regret that I found this show when it was in its final death throes. My timing has always sucked.
How is it that you’ve missed every great show from the last decade?
Buffy, West Wing, Arrested Development - I envy you that you’ve got all that greatness still to see.
I never used to watch tv… and like most things in my life, I can only fully appreciate what it was I had once I don’t have it anymore. Long live network tv!!
hm, i would be in a fury at the delayed viewing of buffy, but i calmed down somewhat as you’ve made a very fine choice there. AD is just brilliant, and second only to, you guessed it, buffy the kick-ass vampire slayer. if you don’t want to be a superhero after watching buffy beat up some vampire butt, i’ll eat my superhero shorts.
