Stop the bus, I wanna get off.
Jun 28th, 2006 by B.
The past two weeks have been a blur of almost endless to-do lists & busy work. I can remember not long after we arrived in Dresden wishing for something… anything to do to keep busy and keep my mind off the monumental changes we’d just been through. Well doesn’t it figure that around the time I’ve adjusted to our new lifestyle I’d be overrun with things to do?
The good news is I think I see a light at the end of the tunnel. Once I drop our drivers licenses off to be translated, take Robbie (who is out for summer & full of demands) shopping, get the oil changed in the car & make it to the gym… why I might have a whole 30 minutes before Jim gets home and the cycle starts over again.
Simply put, I’m tired. And if I’m going to be kept busy, why can’t it be interesting things I’m doing? Like exploring the history of Dresden… planning the vacation I so desperately need… or reading about rush limbaugh’s latest fracas with the law and laughing maniacally about how he can’t get it up.
And, man, after re-reading this incredibly dull entry I can say with 100% certainty that the old ‘all work and no play’ maxim is beyond true. B. is turning into a dull girl… bummer. So tomorrow I’m declaring a moratorium on work. I’m going to lay in bed all day, eat yummy, bad for me food and watch crappy tv in a language I don’t fully understand while surfing the net. Heaven.
On this day..

B, you are anything but dull, so enough of that! ;-D It may seem dull to you but (hopefull) to the rest of us, it’s interesting enough to see what you’re up to, even if it is mudane, lol
although i’m a little concerned about the whole talking in the third person thing… that can’t be a good sign…
I’m soooooo jealous, I want a lazy day in bed. I’ve worked 7 days straight and have 2 more to go before I get a day off. Then the other half wants me to get up early and go galavanting. I’m toast!!!
Enjoy!
