Woohoo! Season five of 24 just arrived, so I’m planning a tv watching fest for the entire weekend. When we left america last February, 24 was just ramping up and it killed me to miss it. I almost see this as my reward for enduring visitor as long as I have… and let me tell you, there’s nothing more relaxing and/or rewarding than watching Jack Bauer kill bad guys. And the occasional good guy… but in his defense, he always feels terrible after.

Other than that, I’m reveling in the fact that I don’t have to cook thanksgiving dinner next week. It always makes the big christmas meal seem so redundant. Nope, I plan to give thanks by partaking in my favorite, albeit somewhat unusual, meal of late… frosted flakes with banana & black olives. The black olives are a stand-alone… they don’t actually go in the cereal… because that would just be, well, gross.
