Put Cake on my mp3 player and walked down to the Elbe and it was sunny and warm and people entered and exited my field of vision like busy little bees flitting from one flower to the next and for the first time in weeks I was really and I mean really alone with my thoughts and it was soooo nice and by the time I came home ’sad songs and waltzes’ was playing and I for the first time truly appreciated the simplicity of it and when I entered my flat again I was genuinely happy and appreciative of my family and our mixed up crazy life.
It’s been a good day…
