Haha! I must, however, respectfully disagree with jeanni — the € sign does not save one from redneckdom. I knew plenty in my ex-pat days. I don’t think Slim-Jims and root beer make you a redneck, though. Now if it were pork rinds and Pabst beer, well…

After months of searching I stumbled across a couple of cans of A&W Rootbeer and was so happy I could barely breathe. Now that I’m back in the States, I do the same for Lift Apfelschorle.

The funny thing is, it’s not like I’ve missed having slim jims since moving to germany (didn’t have them that often in the states), but when I saw them advertised I suddenly had to have one. The dr. pepper is primarily from Robbie. According to her she will “die” if she doesn’t get “like, at least, two cans” per week. God knows I wouldn’t want to be responsible for her untimely death.
