Observations from this evening’s walk along the Elbe.

Nothing says ‘ascension to heaven’ like a group of drunken old men jamming to Lionel Richie’s ‘You Are’.

Speaking of Lionel Richie, he’s coming to Dresden soon… posters are all over town and apparently they’re charging actual money for the tickets. I thought maybe it was free or they were paying people to show up or something… but nope, and the tickets are fucking expensive!
p.s. To all the deutsch babydaddies out there… happy Männertag! (hugs)

I wonder… Is there a difference between ‘daddy’ and ‘babydaddy’? Like, a ‘daddy’ is one who has been recognized through the state per the act of marriage to the mommy (or if I wanna get real nitpickin’, the ‘bio-mommy’) to be the father - and a babydaddy is an unofficial term to designate whose-ever sperm happened to reach the egg first?
Or is it just a slang thang?
Germans just freakin’ loooooove Lionel Richie. He gave a concert in Hannover and few weeks ago and people were clamoring to get tickets. Go figure.
Lionel Ritchie? As in “Truly”, “Dancin’ on the Ceiling”, and “Stuck on You”? This makes me rethink considering Germany as a future home. Although I do admit an affinity for “Stuck on You” as I remember it from a high school dance and a cute boy who was a great kisser. Okay, I’m stopping - too much info.
