There have been some great (and not so great) protest songs surrounding the U.S. occupation of Iraq. My current favorite is Head(of State)… it’s where intelligent rap collides with a nursery rhyme and explodes in a spectacular mushroom cloud of four-letter words.
Full song can downloaded @ iTunes… 99 cents… you know you want to.

When I first posted the latest poll (which continent would you choose to live on if money/career/family weren’t an obstacle) I was just using it as a filler until I came up with a better question. Still, I think it’s pretty fascinating that europe is kicking everyone’s ass. Especially because my blog is […]

From austin to boston to phoenix to portland and all points in-between. Through babies and tears and laughter and storms that raged for days over things I can’t quite remember, but never will forget. And how we ended up in a shithole like colorado springs… counting our days and banking our dreams, I’ll […]

2. I Want Candy - Bow Wow Wow (never… never… never… NEVER)
3. Owner Of A Lonely Heart - Yes (see above)
4. […]

We just got our annual electricity bill in the mail and it seems we’ve paid too little in… to the tune of 1585,88€ (roughly $2150 u.s. dollars) too little. When we first moved in they set our electric at 60€, which we knew wouldn’t be enough, so we called and had them up it […]

- Lately I’ve been feeling like I’m in a funk- a downswing. Too much time spent not sleeping, listening to depressing music, and laying around “thinking”. I really need to snap out of it. It’s been good for writing though. Well, I say ‘good’- it’s been good in that I write […]

We have a 4-day weekend coming up and we’re not going anywhere. This is surely a sign of the apocalypse.
