Praise benadryl & pass the kleenex.

Ugh. Allergy season is kicking my ass… I’ve spent the past four days in a doped-out haze with no end in sight. Oh, for all the expats who might be running low on Benadryl, you can get the exact same thing here (prescription free) by the name of ‘emesan tabletten’. It’s marketed here as an anti-nausea medication, but the active ingredient’s identical, with a single 50 mg tablet being equal to two benadryl.

ha! It’s been kicking my ass for about 2 months now. Could you imagine how you’d feel if you felt like you do now and also had to work 40 hours a week?
I absolutely can’t imagine it. Just keeping up with the girls and their school schedule is a chore lately…
as cheap as in the States? Sure! But thanks for the “alert,” B!
Actually they’re pretty cheap. We just bought 200 pills online for around 20 euro (and each pill is equal to 2 benadryl).
I never had allergies in the States, but in Germany & Hungary, it kicked my ass every year. Bad. My daughter also developed asthma there, which she has since “grown out of.”
