Summer Lovin’

It’s 12° with winds whipping out of the wsw at a brisk 26kph. The sun’s flirting with me behind fluffy, white clouds, and suddenly all seems right in the world. So complete is my weather-satisfaction that I want to don my most sensible woolen frock, attach a crisp white apron, spread my arms wide, and sing about the hills being alive while I twirl in the cool summer sun.
If there really is a benevolent god out there with nothing better to do than grant the occasional lame wish, well, today she actually likes me…
