I ask you…

In what universe is this defined as clean:

I hate to sound like such a mom but, sheesh, she gets 20€ a week to keep her room clean. That’s it, that’s all she has to do…

Think of all the money you’re saving…
maybe you should spend the 20€ on yourself, in front of her… and thank her for the dough.
I don’t exactly see uncleanliness or dirt … just chaos.
There can be no loopholes with teens … they will find it every time.
You must revise your demands to specify organization, tidiness and no visual clutter.
I can see sporatic patches of the floor.
Lol, looks like a normal teenage room to me
But Remus is right, you’ll probably have to redefine your terms…..Good luck!
Better yet…do what I did, and make a scrapbook completely dedicated to all the crap that is left around the house for YOU to pick up! I started with a post, like this one, and then walked around the house snapping pictures of the debris and devestation that was all around me. Then, I put the completed book on my coffee table.
It’s a devious plan, but when seen through, it gets results!
Good luck!
Maybe she should be forced to spend the €20 to pay somebody else to tidy up / clean her own room! Then perhaps she would understand how you feel a little bit better!?
I totally saw your daughter on the 6 this morning. I was thinking how I could embarrass you guys by saying something to her.
She rides the 6 so it was probably her. Was she wearing too much makeup and giving everyone “I’m better than you!” looks? If so it was definitely her.
