Technobabble
One of the first extensive research papers I ever wrote and presented at a conference was about Burma. Ever since I follow the news hoping and praying that this country can find its way. It is appalling how the people there are treated. It is even more appalling how we turn away from them and then invade Iraq for those mysterious WMD.
(Sorry, little political soap box of mine. I will get down now.)
By all means, preach on. I also find it extremely sad that while most people know who Gandhi is, you can ask crowd after crowd who Aung San Suu Kyi is and/or why she won a nobel peace prize… and not a soul will know.
