I’m sure there are many stories that will come from the blogger weekend. I know I made lots of new friends and managed to be smiley and sociable at least 82.76% of the time (really, really impressive for me). But here’s the sweetest, bestest part of the weekend and why I cut out early each evening:

As any mom or dad will tell you, being a parent means you’re constantly pulled in different directions… and while we may not have closed down the bars with everyone else, the tradeoff was pretty great.


Those are sweet and wonderful — its these small moments where I think it would be really cool if I had kids. She has two of the most awesomest parents I know…

Savour these. You’re going to have to post your voicemails to her in a few years’ time…
