Done deal.

My vote in the 2008 presidential primary is officially cast. From the comfort of my home. Over the internet… from another country. How cool is that?? And while my vote went to Barack Obama, of the two serious contenders, I’d honestly be proud to have either candidate representing my party. Hillary is by no means a bad choice… in fact, the only bad choice you can make at this point is to not bother voting at all. Unless, of course, you’re voting for a republican. (heh)

- Brust... shut yo' mouth! - 2006

Honestly I’m not inspired by either of the two major democratic candidates. Either one will be better than any of the Republicans, but that’s really not good enough… unfortunately it will have to suffice.

I voted this morning. “Yes, we can!” style. I realize that no matter what the canidadates policy, s/he will be checked by Congress, but Obama is inspiring and offers hope… hope for change! I’m also excited about the improved voting from abroad situation. The last Presidental election was a mess for me. We were in France and had a horrible time getting our ballots.

Very cool. i had to grab the kids after school yesterday and run my absentee ballot out to be postmarked to be able to vote. Wish my state were as modern as yours!
I’m a registered Independent, so I can’t vote in primaries. I’m back and forth between Obama and Clinton.
Initially I was going to vote for Obama also, but Hilary’s healthcare plan won me over. Healthcare was my number one concern, and her plan fit better since Obama wasn’t offering it if your employer already offered coverage. (Mine does, I just can’t afford it, small company = high cost) Voting from home would rock, I had to stand in line for quite a while.

I like Obama AND Hillary. Like Katrina (last comment), though, Hillary wins for healthcare for me. That’s a MAJOR issue for my family.
You know, I saw earlier the sheer numbers of people who voted just in the primaries. Wow. Democrats outvoted Republicans nearly everywhere. Bodes well for November, huh?!
