Good times, part II.
Jul 7th, 2008 by B.
On Saturday, the 28th of June we spent the day in Regensburg. This is significant because we almost moved there back in 2004. For us R-burg was sort of our gateway to Germany… it didn’t work out (long story) but it was the first time we took something that, to that point, had only been theoretical and almost made it reality.
There are probably better shots than this one, but I loved the juxtaposition of the calm, serene city panoramic with all the tagging… it gives it a sort of ‘industrial city that time forgot’ feel.

And you do feel like you’re stepping back in time when you visit Regensburg…

Check out how huge this window is:

And no visit to Regensburg is complete without a stop at the 800+ yr. old sausage shop…

Finally, after a full day of exploring, we met Cliff & Sarah for dinner and spent the rest of the evening checking out the city with them. A great end to a great day.
… and here’s one last photo taken down by the Danube that I absolutely fell in love with:

how far would you go?
On this day..
